AAI_01: Access Control System Introduction

This course is part of the Hikvision Certified Security Associate – AAI program. This course will provide an introduction to Access Control Systems. Topics will cover the basics of access control systems including the controllers, cards, locks and software used to monitor the systems. The course defines the different topologies and technologies used in access control including the use of Wiegand vs RS-485 devices. Using advanced features such as Multiple Authentication, Single-Door Anti-Pass Back and Route Anti-Pass Back are discussed as methods to provide additional authentication for those unique security requirements. The course will conclude with a look at the Hikvision product line that can be implemented in access controlled environments.
