HikBasics – Camera Configuration
The Camera Configuration course covers the activation and configuration of two different types of IP cameras including a thermal camera. Using the Hikvision Virtual Classroom, students will walk through the procedure of configuring the camera as if it was new out of the box. In the hands on labs, participants will activate the camera, configure the IP address, and configure all available parameters within the web interface. Subjects include all menus and options within the camera including configuring the Time settings using Network Time Protocol (NTP), Maintenance (reboot, restore, default, firmware updates), Network Basic and Advanced (SNMP, FTP, EMAIL, Platform Access, HTTPS, QoS, Video/Audio, Channels (for multi-channel cameras), Main Stream, Sub Steam, Resolutions, Frame Rate, video Encoding, I Frame interval, Audio, ROI, Image menu, display setting, OSD, Privacy Mask, and Events.
